Arlington, TX in June, 2012. Marty Lichtmann, Covercraft’s President commented,
“Our team, and the people of Pauls Valley
enjoyed the 2004 visit by the Power Tour participants,
we’re looking forward to extending our hospitality and an opportunity to tour
our plant once again.”
In 2004 over
1600 people made the stop and enjoyed some Midwest hospitality.
For us, one of the highlights of the SEMA show was having Autoweek in the booth to film. Autoweek is respected worldwide as a leader in automotive infomation and coverage, so it was no surprise that they produced this fantastic video:
Autoweek maintains a fabulous channel on YouTube, so be sure to look there for the latest automotive news and information. Here are a few of their other productions from the 2011 SEMA Show. Enjoy.
It goes without saying that there is action all over the SEMA Show. We don't get to look around much during the week, but when we do...
We have to show off some of our products that were seen away from our booth. Our friends at Nitto Tire were having a unique promotion in their booth and we were lucky enough to be involved in the "mystery" of the promotion.
Here's a video that PowerTV produced at the show.
"The Lucky Girl" was being shown off in the Cragar Wheels booth. This beautiful blue Dodge Challenger sported one of our multi-color, WeatherShield HP covers for a few photos. The car was also fitted with a custom DashMat and Pocket Pods.
Our friends at Full House Motorsports were proudly displaying "The Gambler". This 1954 Pontiac Chieftain is a one-of-a-kind ride with a special purpose; it will be given away in a raffle! Here's the really cool part...proceeds from the giveaway will be donated to Operation Homefront.
We barely scratched the surface with all that was going on around the 2011 SEMA Show so stay tuned for more....
Well, it has taken us a while to get back in the swing of things since the 2011 SEMA Show ended, but now we're ready to review a little of what we experienced this year in Las Vegas. The show was as big as ever and the traffic appeared to be up from previous years. We enjoyed seeing so many old friends and meeting new ones. We've had our booth in Central Hall for many years now but this year we moved up towards the Ford end of the hall. The location was awesome! Great traffic all around us and our Exhibitor neighbors were first class. Upon opening of the show, we took the opportunity to announce our Sponsorship of Motorz TV. Chris Duke and his crew made an appearance in the booth, shook hands, visited briefly and then shot video for the upcoming Motorz SEMA episode. We enjoyed catching up with them, showing off our signage announcing the deal, and then telling them about the products we had on display.
Our booth location wasn't the only change we had this year, we also changed our booth configuration. We brought in a couple of vehicles to show off our products and the response was extremely positive.
Both vehicles also included the Roadie by Ruff Rider; a canine vehicle restraint. The Roadie is designed to be the best canine vehicle restraint system, not just a dog harness. Everybody loves dogs, and our model dogs were frequently the subject of attendees' photographs!
We took the opportunity to have some media in the booth for product information interviews as well. Here are a couple of videos from our friends over at PowerTV.
On

San Diego, CA and Pauls Valley, OK, November 1, 2011 - Oklahoma-based Covercraft Industries, Inc., has signed a major sponsorship agreement with Motorz TV, the highly regarded automotive
TV series.
Shot in the seaside city of San Diego, Motorz host and producer Chris Duke stated, "Besides 300 days of sunshine, there are other
environmental factors in this area that make car covers and interior protection
a necessity. We could think of no better company than Covercraft to be our car
cover sponsor, with their long history of making custom-patterned covers for show
cars, OE and aftermarket parts suppliers for over 45 years."
When approached
with the idea of becoming the exclusive car cover and interior protection
provider to Motorz, Covercraft’s
President, Marty Lichtmann said, “Having worked with Chris previously, we were
impressed with his on-air talent and production capabilities. The opportunity
to become a sponsor of Motorz presented
itself, and we are pleased to be associated with the series. We look forward to
building awareness of our entire product line, through Motorz and some very innovative promotions we have planned
together.” Catch the

The SEMA Show is about cars. Period. Nowhere else will you get to see and hear the fastest, loudest, most expensive, most obnoxious and obscure cars in the world. It is a car lover's dream to walk the halls and experience these vehicles. And if the show floor is not enough, well then there are usually several hundred other vehicles outside the convention center that are equally, if not more, impressive than those inside. So, here are a few videos we've come across that highlight the real reason everyone is at the SEMA show. Cars.
There is never a lack of media coverage at the SEMA show. All Automotive publications have people there covering the spectacle and the halls are filled with independent bloggers, journalists, media personalities and photographers. Throughout the months following the show, many online broadcasts and special SEMA television episodes will air with comprehensive interviews and product information. This show does not just occur during the first week of November, it is a year-long festival of all things automotive.
Online resources are plentiful as well and SEMA provides people with opportunities to connect and learn on the most active Social sites.

Custom-patterned for Pickups and SUVs, SeatSaver® Seat Protectors provide maximum protection to help keep your seats looking new. Custom-fitted means that they are easy to install and remove and they fit just right.
SeatSaver® features include:
• Block UV rays to
protect seat finish • Fabric “breathes” – no “sticky” back • Throw in
washer/dryer when dirty • Overlapped double-stitched seams • No tools
needed to install / remove
With SeatSaver® seat protectors your leather and velour seats
are safe. The fabric is protected with a DWR (durable water repellency) finish
that blocks most "accidents" from reaching the seats. Like a great pair of
jeans, SeatSavers get softer and more comfortable with each washing (but, we
recommend you re-spray the DWR after every 5 or 6 washings).
SeatSaver®WT seat protectors have the same features and capabilities as SeatSavers, but we've added patterns for heavy duty applications such as concrete trucks, dump trucks, OTR (over-the-road) trucks, and many more.
The SeatSaver®WT protectors are perfect for these applications because they protect the seats from work hazards like dirt, dust, and mud. These are available for trucks from Class 1 to Class 8.
